Heartsaver Classes
Heartsaver courses are perfect for individuals with little or no medical background who need CPR certification for work or regulatory requirements, including OSHA.
Designed for employees across a wide range of fields—such as construction, childcare, fitness, hospitality, and more—these classes also benefit anyone who simply wants the confidence and skills to respond effectively in an emergency at home, work, or in the community.
The Heartsaver AED course teaches CPR, how to use an AED, proper use of barrier devices, and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants.

The purpose of the courses in the First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective, manner.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Classes
The American Heart Association’s BLS course teaches participants to quickly recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, provide effective breaths and ventilations, and use an AED early in the response.
This training is ideal for healthcare professionals, first responders, and students in medical programs who deliver patient care in clinical, emergency, or community settings and need the skills to respond confidently when every second counts.
Heartcode BLS must be completed and on hand at the time of skills test.

The BLS for Healthcare Providers teacher core material such as adult and child CPR. Foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

This course provides a foundation for teaching and facilitating AHA guideline courses. The instructor will be able to teach BLS for Healthcare Providers and all Heartsaver Courses.

Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Classes
The American Heart Association’s ACLS course builds on core BLS skills and focuses on high-performance team dynamics during advanced, lifesaving interventions.
Designed for healthcare professionals who manage or respond to cardiac arrest, stroke, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies, ACLS training is ideal for physicians, nurses, paramedics, and those working in emergency response, critical care, surgery, intensive care, or other clinical settings—as well as anyone who needs an ACLS certification to meet job or program requirements.
The ACLS Provider course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VFNT arrest. Students are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases such as: A respiratory emergency. 4 types of cardiac arrest, 4 types of pre-arrest emergencies, and stroke.

ACLS is geared toward healthcare professionals who either direct of participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response.
